U schyłku XV w. Kazimierz, stanowiący wówczas oddzielne miasto, stał się ośrodkiem dwóch kultur chrześcijańskiej i żydowskiej. Wiele zabytków (zwłaszcza sakralnych) świadczących o świetności tych kultur można oglądać do dziś. Trasę zabytków żydowskich rozpoczynamy od centrum Kultury Żydowskiej (ul. Meiselsa) prężnie działającego ośrodka kulturalnego. Następnie kierujemy się w stronę żydowskich bożnic. Tempel (ul.Miodowa) wybudowano na poczatku 2.poł. XIXw. dla Stowarzyszenia Izraelitów Postępowych.
Po obejrzeniu XVII-wiecznej synagogi Kupa przy ul. Warszauera dochodzimy do synagogi Izaaka przy ul. Kupa, zbudowanej w latach 1638-44r. Prz ul. Znajduja sie tam m.in. grób rabina Mojżesza Isserlesa (zm. 1572r.) cel pielgrzymek Żydów z całego świata.
Po obejrzeniu XVII-wiecznej synagogi Poppera udajemy sie poza granicę historycznego Kazimierza, by zobaczyć cmentarz żydowski przy ul. Miodowej. To inne rzeczy można zobaczyć idąc z przewodnikiem po Kazimierzu Krakow walking tours.

The church and monastery of SS. Peter and Paul are perched upon a high limestone rock by the Vistula river. According to tradition, the abbey was founded by Casimir the Restorer (1016-58r.) First, a Romanesque basilica with three apses stood there. In the 14th century, the Benedictine monks of Tyniec sited with Prince Ladislas the Elbow-High later King of Poland, who competed for the throne with the supports of the Czech Premyslid dynasty. During the fighting, the monastery`s buildings were severely damaged. It was only in the 15th century that the monastery was rebuilt as a gothic complex with numerous defensive features. The only Romanesque sections still in existence are the southern wall of the basilica with a Romanesque portal courtyard and refectory foundations as well as certain architectural decorations. The Baroque interior decorations of the church date back to the middle of the 17th century. The Tyniec Abbey was turned into a fortress several times e.g. during the Swedish wars in the 17th century and the struggle of the Confederates of Bar against Russian troops in the second 18th century. In 1816r. the abbey in the part of Poland under Austrian rule was dissolved by the authorities and the last Tyniec monk died in 1844r. it was only in 1939r. that Cardinal Adam Sapieha returned the hill together with the buildings to the Benedictines who had lost it over 100 years earlier in 1968r. the monastery became an abbey again.
